2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Usage Data

We track the number of infographics you generate and AI images you create each month to enforce plan limits. This includes generation counts, image counts, and timestamps.

Generated Content

When you generate infographics, we temporarily store the AI-generated images in Google Cloud Storage. Free plan images are retained for 7 days; Pro plan images for 30 days. After that, they are automatically deleted.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVC, or billing address on our servers. Stripe provides us with a customer ID, payment status, and transaction amount for record-keeping.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, session duration, device type). Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the infographic generation service
  • To manage your account, plan, and usage limits
  • To process payments and credit purchases via Stripe
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, support replies)
  • To improve the product based on usage patterns
  • To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your generated infographics for training AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, and cloud storage. Firebase Privacy Policy

  • Google Analytics — Website analytics. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Gemini / OpenAI — AI image and content generation. Prompts and generated content are sent to these APIs for processing.
  • Brave Search API — Topic research for infographic content generation.

5. Data Retention

  • Generated images: Free plan — 7 days. Pro plan — 30 days. Automatically deleted after retention period.
  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Email us to request deletion.
  • Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
  • Usage logs: Aggregated monthly, individual logs deleted after 90 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt-out — Opt out of analytics tracking

7. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Authentication cookies — To keep you signed in (essential, no opt-out)
  • Google Analytics cookies — To measure site usage (can be opted out)

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

8. Security

We protect your data with HTTPS/TLS encryption, Firebase security rules, Stripe PCI-compliant payment processing, Content Security Policy headers, and Strict-Transport-Security (HSTS). While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry best practices to protect your information.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
